A rare and fantastic opportunity for a successful candidate to join the Wētā FX family as a Part Time Employee approx 20-hours a week, provide support to the Facilities Department and working towards making a large impact to the studio! Our ideal Runner is someone who can remain relaxed but effective in a fast-paced environment and use initiative to keep busy when the pace slows down. You'll be a confident, safe driver with a full and clean Canadian driver's license and your problem-solving skills will be second to none. The successful Candidate will demonstrate: A calm and courteous approach to tasks assigned A high level of punctuality and reliability A careful approach to driving and work The ability to communicate confidently across a range people Strong problem-solving skills The ability to work autonomously The Runners workload includes but is not limited to: Assisting Production crew where needed Providing excellent customer service to crew Delivering catering offerings in a timely manner General basic building up-keep Maintaining kitchens and shared spaces to a high standard Ensuring vendors are well looked after, and that Wētā FX’s reputation is upheld Assisting with events Maintaining and ensuring the presentation of the vehicle fleet is kept at a high level To be eligible for consideration you must be available to work weekdays, have a full, clean Canadian drivers’ license and be legally able to work in Canada.
