Job Description

The Runner in DC Maintenance provides critical support to the process of moving merchandise through the distribution center. The role will support key operations technology to ensure smooth throughput of merchandise. The ideal candidate will have an appetite to learn the specifics of the robotics technology in our building, enjoy physically challenging work, and have a sense of urgency in their work.

Job Responsibility

  • Operation of ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System and DMS (Dematic Multi-Shuttle) (70%)
  • Correcting EMS Faulted locations list (daily) (10%)
  • Climbing up to 32 Levels
  • Correcting Bin Sensor Faulted locations list (10%)
  • Addressing conveyor jams and monitoring product flow of receiving (5%)
  • Maintenance Technician backup support (5%)

Requirements

  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position to include: standing or walking for the duration of the shift, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Sense of urgency is critical
  • Curious and open to learn
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment when handling multiple competing priorities
  • Good verbal communication skills
