On behalf of our healthcare client, Robert Half Talent Solutions, Technology Division is seeking an RTLS Analyst to support their Business Systems team. This contract is estimated to last 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity with an amazing organization here in the Memphis area for anyone with exposure to RTLS support and is immediately available.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and replace batteries in RTLS devices and staff safety badges
Perform routine system checks to ensure devices are functioning properly
Check the status and performance of RTLS hardware across assigned areas
Tag and track equipment and assets using the RTLS system
Assign staff safety badges to employees and maintain accurate records
Review badge usage and follow up on inactive or unused badges
Collect, redeploy, and reassign unused staff safety badges
Support staff with badge questions, replacements, and basic troubleshooting
Maintain clear documentation of badge assignments, battery changes, and tagged assets
Requirements:
Familiarity with RTLS systems, asset tracking platforms, or badge‑based safety systems (preferred)
Experience working with hardware devices such as tags, badges, and sensors
Comfortable using tracking systems, dashboards, and basic reporting tools
Ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards
Strong attention to detail when reviewing device status and usage
Ability to identify and resolve basic hardware or tracking issues (e.g., low batteries, inactive devices)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Clear and professional communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users
Strong documentation and record‑keeping abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive, dependable, and detail‑oriented work style
Comfortable with hands‑on technical and device support
High school diploma or associate degree required
bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in technical support, asset tracking, healthcare support, or a related role preferred
Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is a plus
