Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be joining our dedicated Motability RTA team, dealing with a mixed caseload of OIC, MOJ, complex and Fast Track claims, along with Part 8 litigated cases. You will have the ability to develop your existing experience to litigate post-whiplash reform cases where quantum and liability are disputed. You will be sympathetic to the needs of your clients to ensure a high-quality service is provided and accurate legal advice is given in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility
Join a specialist Motability RTA team managing a varied caseload (OIC, MOJ, complex, Fast Track & Part 8 litigation)
Support post-whiplash reform claims where liability and quantum are disputed
Handle up to 200 RTA claims, including OIC, MOJ and MIB cases
Manage claims end-to-end, from inception through to resolution
Lead on dispute management and resolution strategies
Value and assess claims up to £20,000
Deliver high-quality client service with clear, accurate legal advice in line with policies
Requirements
Fast Track RTA claims handling experience with personal injury, within an insurance company or law firm environment
A working knowledge of OIC and MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules for Personal Injury claims
A working knowledge of tariff and non-tariff valuations, and JC Guidelines for the assessment of general damages in personal injury cases
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients
Experience of working towards and achieving defined business targets and measures
Ability to work well under pressure whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
