Rpg Developer (As400)

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG III on IBM AS400
• Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective software solutions
• Develop, test, and deploy new features and system enhancements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, QA teams, and end users throughout the project lifecycle
• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT activities
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices are followed
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation
• Utilize JIRA to manage tasks, defects, and project progress
• Provide production support and contribute to continuous system improvements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in RPG III programming on IBM AS400
• Strong knowledge of IBM AS400 development and maintenance
• Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools
• Experience within the Life Assurance / Insurance industry is a strong advantage
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills with English proficiency (6–7/10 or above)
