The RPA System Administrator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and administration of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) infrastructure and systems within the UiPath Orchestrator framework. This role ensures the smooth functioning of automated processes, provides technical support, and coordinates with development teams to maintain optimal system performance.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure stable RPA operations through daily robot monitoring, issue resolution, robot start/stop activities, backup support, and ongoing maintenance of automated production environments
Ensure compliance with security and data protection requirements, including GDPR
Manage RPA infrastructure and production resources, including licenses, virtual machine capacity, management server updates and server configuration
Support secure access and system governance by handling Office 365 app access changes, reviewing access requests, validating ERP authorizations, and contributing to audit and compliance activities
Coordinate deployments, upgrades, and technical changes by introducing new robots into production, supporting software and platform upgrades, and working with internal teams and technology providers
Administer and maintain the RPA platform by managing robot application patching, robot setup including VDI, UiPath-related configurations, and overall Office 365 environment support
Requirements:
University degree or appropriate training in Information Technology, System Administration, Informatics, or comparable practical experience in IT operations or automation support min 2 years experience
Experience with UiPath or other RPA solutions, Microsoft server and client operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, IT infrastructure and application development basics
Good understanding of IT infrastructure, access management, application support, and production environments
Knowledge of ERP and business systems such as SAP, QAD, SharePoint, or similar platforms is an advantage
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix, multi-geography, multi-cultural environment
Fluent in English, German language skill is a plus
