Job Description:

The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role requiring in-depth knowledge of application support processes with a focus on RPA/Smart Automation. Responsibilities include providing business and technical support, maintaining application systems, monitoring systems thoroughly, and resolving issues in a timely manner to meet service level agreements while ensuring stability and quality of applications.

Job Responsibility:

Provides technical and business support for users of Citi Applications
Provides quick resolutions to app issues
Drives stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements
Maintains application systems
Manages, maintains and supports applications and their operating environments
Performs start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover
Performs same day risk reconciliations
Develops and maintains technical support documentation
Identifies ways to maximize the potential of applications
Assesses risk and impact of production issues
Escalates issues to management
Ensures storage and archiving procedures are functioning
Formulates and defines scope and objectives for application enhancements
Reviews and develops application contingency planning
Partners with development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling
Participates in application releases
Engages in post-implementation analysis
Identifies risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues
Ensures essential procedures are followed
Acts as a liaison between users and internal technology groups
Raises problems to appropriate teams
Acts as advisor or coach to analysts
Provides evaluative judgment and influences decisions through advice
Actively involved in and owns Support Project items.

Requirements:

10-12 years experience in an Application Support role
IT Support experience with UNIX, Oracle/SQL-Server, Windows
Knowledge of AA or Xceptor or Appian tools
RPA Development and implementation experience in RPA tools - AA or Xceptor (desirable)
AA or Xceptor or Appain certification (Desirable)
Knowledge of Scripting Languages (e.g : Python, shell script, Java Script)
Understanding of client server architecture (clustered and non-clustered)
Basic Networking knowledge (Load balancers, Network Protocols)
Knowledge of ITRS Monitoring and uDeploy (desirable)
Knowledge of WebSphere Architecture and Business Objects (desirable)
Participation in some process improvements
Be able to work under pressure
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
Demonstrated analytical skills
Issue tracking and reporting using tools
Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools
Good all-round technical skills
Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
Ability to plan and organize workload
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder.
