Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail, is looking to add a RPA Developer to our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative RPA Developer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions, primarily using UiPath. Experience with UiPath Document Understanding is highly preferred. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about AI Agents and automation, who is eager to contribute to transformative technology initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using UiPath to automate business processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze automation requirements
Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions for performance and scalability
Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure successful deployments
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process maps, and operational support materials
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend automation strategies
Provide production support, including monitoring and resolving incidents related to RPA workflows
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security, compliance, and governance of automation solutions
Requirements:
2–5 years of professional experience in RPA development
Strong proficiency in UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot components)
Preference for experience with UiPath Document Understanding
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate is a plus
Enthusiasm for AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies
Broader software development experience (e.g., .NET, C#, VB or Python) is a plus
Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and web services integration
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred
