Job Description:

We are looking for a RP Offshore CSR for one of our clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Validating the work packs' job cards prepared by the CONTRACTOR and organizing their circulation on SITE
  • Managing permits to work for the work area and ensures compliance with the specific SimOps rules
  • Supervising the construction work and tracking its execution in various construction disciplines
  • Reporting to Lead Brownfield and Hook-up and relevant Offshore Operation Safety organization (the CSR is the main contact of the Of M and operational authorities for construction works)
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of construction activities (including HSE): With strict adherence to HSE legislation, Company standards and procedures applicable to the Project
  • With compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards
  • With good level of competency for company Supervision
  • To ensure EPCIC CONTRACTOR's readiness with all approved procedures, work method statements, Job cards, agreed optimized Level 4 activity micro-schedule, required resources (including manpower, equipment, Tools, specialties, marine spread, subcontractors, vendors etc.) to facilitate the execution of offshore activities
  • With the support of his supervision team, he would: Participate in all Construction offshore meetings with CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTORS and SITE authorities
  • Ensure that all installation/hook-up documents and drawings are verified and compliant to technical requirements
  • Ensure that CONTRACTOR has adequate resources (equipment and manpower) mobilized for all disciplines per approved micro-schedule
  • Ensure that all required inspections, audits and equipment certification are performed on time and that all corrective action plans are properly implemented by CONTRACTOR
  • Ensure timely completion of the work and monitor closely CONTRACTOR performance and progress with respect to approved micro-schedule
  • Ensure that all installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are properly executed per sequence stipulated in the micro-schedule for startup readiness
  • Ensure that incomplete activities are properly tracked and recorded and tracked with the right categorization in the punch list management system
  • Liaise with Certification Authority, as required to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
  • Review, validate or correct the daily/weekly/monthly SITE progress
  • Stop the work when necessary & report immediately to CONTRACTOR about any anomaly, violation & unsafe act/practices
  • Participate as Company Representative in the regular HSE Committee meetings & Safety Tours
  • Maintains good relationships with Site Authorities, CONTRACTOR, while being firm on achieving the project objectives
  • To effectively manage, control and drive his Supervisions team assigned on site
  • Establish a clear policy for delegation and responsibilities to his team, in term of scope of work, Schedule and deliverable requirements
  • Provides HSE advises or technical support to his construction team as necessary
  • Analyze / resolve issues and problems encountered by his Construction supervision team and make necessary arbitration between different disciplines/ stake holders (the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project)
  • Motivate all members of the team to perform the job at the highest level of quality, in compliance with schedule and cost objectives
  • Inform and ensure that relevant decisions/directions taken at Management level are correctly understood by the team and enforced/ implemented at SITE
  • Ensure that COMPANY supervision team is performing well and sufficient resources are in place to effectively manage the activities
  • Provide adequate supports and assistance during commissioning and start-up activities
  • Report on regular basis to Lead brownfield and Hook-up about installation / hook-up progress, trend, Concerns and potential drifts on quality, schedule and/or cost
  • To propose actions plan, mitigation, corrective action etc. to Project Lead for any supervision or control process improvement
  • Raise concern to CONTRACTOR for any installation deficiency, anomaly or non-compliance and propose / suggest acceptable mitigations or corrective actions
  • To ensure confidentiality in project information and related documentations under his area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree: FIND or equivalent in related field
  • At least 10 years' experience in the offshore oil & gas industry
  • Extensive knowledge of industry best practice in Project Management
  • Experience in offshore construction and hook-up activities under SIMOPS and Brownfield conditions is EPC supervision on client side is preferable
  • Available for technical missions worldwide
  • Familiar with company General Specifications, MANASA, and relevant codes and standards
  • Fluent English
  • Computer literate
  • Good leadership skills and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
  • Qatar or middle east experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training
