Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role provides support across a variety of branch locations within a specific geography where a banker or teller is out of the office or to temporarily cover vacancies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support across a variety of branch locations within a specific geography
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new surroundings
  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience
  • Build relationships through proactive outreach
  • Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts
  • Complete service requests
  • Submit credit applications
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgement
  • Develop understanding of bank products and services
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
  • Provide appropriate options for bank products and services
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Over 6 months of hands-on experience in the banking industry
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable reaching out to customers by phone or email
  • Passionate about helping customers discover and use mobile banking tools
  • Dedicated to helping customers achieve financial success
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with teammates
  • Skilled at building lasting relationships with customers
  • Great at partnering with internal teams
  • Detail-oriented and committed to following policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Able to spot potential fraud or risky accounts
  • Always professional and respectful
  • Military experience that includes working with protocols, evaluations, and leadership reporting
  • Background in managing military personnel benefits, transitions, readiness operations, and recruiting
  • Proficient in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining strong relationships
  • Experienced in resolving concerns and escalating issues
