Job Description

Airswift is seeking a ROV Pilot to work on a permanent contract in Macaé with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Job Responsibility

The ROV Pilot will be responsible for the safety and effective operation and maintenance of the company's inspection class ROVs, as required

Requirements

  • Valid CBSP and THUET certifications
  • English
  • Technical degree or higher
  • ABENDI certification – Desirable
  • Knowledge and use of a ROV Sonar Systems
  • Experience with Ocean Module V8 M500 desirable
  • Additional safety accreditation in safe work management (i.e., IOSH)
  • Certification in at least one of the following qualifications: Underwater Visual Inspection (SM-EV-N2-G / SM-EV-N2-ROV)
  • Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (SM-US-N2-ME / SM-ME-N2-ROV)
  • Electrochemical Potential Measurement (SM-PE- N2-G / SM-PE-N2-ROV)
  • Offshore work experience as a ROV Pilot piloting and maintaining ROVs
  • ROV control, navigation, and propulsion systems
  • Ability to direct the operation of the ROV System

Nice to have

  • ABENDI certification – Desirable
  • Experience with Ocean Module V8 M500 desirable
