They are seeking a detail-oriented Routing Specialist to support daily transportation operations and ensure the smooth flow of freight. This position focuses heavily on routing efficiency, data tracking, and coordination across teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and managing efficient routing plans to optimize delivery schedules
  • Using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting) to track shipments and performance
  • Coordinating with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delays or issues
  • Maintaining accurate records of routes, schedules, and transportation costs
  • Communicating with internal teams and external partners
  • Ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations

Requirements

  • Experience in routing/logistics within a trucking or transportation environment
