Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Route Development Analyst to join Europe’s Favourite Airline Group. This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercially astute individual who has excellent analytical skills to join our Route Development team. The successful candidate will be integral to our growth plans as they support the Route Development team in managing and developing commercial relationships with airport and governmental agencies to support the low-cost expansion of the Ryanair network across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The Route Development Team is a growing team with a high value impact to the overall business. Being based in our Dublin Head office, you will have exposure to all levels and senior Management to make a major contribution in helping us achieve our growth target of 300m passengers by 2034.
Job Responsibility:
Identify low-cost and profitable route opportunities at new and existing airports
Negotiate commercial terms with new and existing airports
Manage and develop existing commercial relationships with airports
Provide market data and analysis, as well as competitive insights
Prepare weekly and monthly performance statistics and reports
Co-ordinate with internal Marketing, Finance and Operations departments
Be able to travel internationally at least once per month (if required)
Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
Organised, detail-oriented, motivated to complete tasks independent
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills – able to source, produce and draw conclusions from data and reports
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage different tasks simultaneously and deal with different people / airports across Europe
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Strong IT skills, especially with Excel
Enjoy working in a fast-moving environment with continuous change
Interest in the airline industry
Fluent in written and spoken English – an additional European language is an advantage although not essential
Nice to have:
