As a Rota Scheduler, you will play a crucial part in the smooth delivery of our supported living care service. This role involves developing efficient rotas, coordinating support worker schedules/rotas, managing new referrals, and ensuring that service users receive consistent and well organised care. This is a rewarding, fast-paced role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Job Responsibility
Create and maintain support staff rotas using our rostering system
Allocate support visits based on service user needs, staff skills, compatibility, and training
Monitor capacity and support with business growth opportunities
Maintain accurate, compliant records of staff and service user information, including absences, annual leave and training
Manage changes to scheduled visits, including cancellations, extensions, and temporary amendments
Identify recruitment needs in line with service demand
Participate in the on- all rota to provide out-of-hours support
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organisational policies and procedures
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work to deadlines
Great organisational ability and attention to detail
Team player with the confidence to work independently
