Job Description:

A young, dynamic family is seeking an exceptional Rota Nanny to join them on a long-term basis, caring for their baby boy, born November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and energetic nanny to play a key role in a child’s early years, working within a supportive environment offering a balance of shared care and sole charge. The parents are hands-on, highly engaged and genuinely value a collaborative partnership with their Rota Nanny. The household is relaxed and informal, and the family are looking for someone who can slot seamlessly into their lives — a confident professional who uses initiative, brings fresh ideas, and exercises excellent judgement, all without the need for micro-management. This is a position for a nanny who enjoys feeling trusted, valued and truly part of the family team. The family is looking to hire two Rota Nannies – one for a February start and the other March/April.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing high-quality, age appropriate care for a baby, including both shared care and sole charge
  • Supporting and developing established routines around sleep, feeding and daily structure
  • Managing all nursery duties
  • Guiding and supporting weaning and developmental milestones
  • Planning stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities
  • Travelling with the family (UK, Europe and worldwide) as required
  • Knowing when to step back to facilitate family time
  • Working collaboratively with parents, who are keen to learn from an experienced nanny

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with babies, with exceptional knowledge of sleep, routines, weaning and child development
  • Relevant childcare qualification (NNEB, NVQ3, Norland Diploma or Degree)
  • Rota Nanny experience (desirable)
  • Proactive and confident, with a calm and positive approach
  • Supportive and collaborative, with excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable, particularly with location and travel
  • Happy working around pets and animals
  • A valid driving licence (preferred, particularly important when based in Wiltshire)
  • Experience travelling with families (highly desirable)

Nice to have:

  • Rota Nanny experience
  • Experience travelling with families
What we offer:

Accommodation provided whilst on duty (a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom)
