Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, calm and confident Rota Nanny to join a fully staffed private household in the North Cotswolds, UK. The household is informal and well-supported, with a Chef and Housekeeper in place. This busy family requires a nanny who is emotionally steady, highly capable, and confident in infant care, to support the care of their 9-month-old son.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full care of a 9-month-old baby boy
  • All aspects of nursery duties relating to the child
  • Supporting developmental routines, sleep schedules and daily structure
  • Age-appropriate stimulation and engagement (play, learning, sensory activities)
  • Ensuring the child’s safety, wellbeing and emotional development at all times
  • Light nursery-related housekeeping (child’s areas, equipment, laundry)
  • Supporting parents in maintaining consistent routines and care approaches
  • Occasional travel with the family

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a nanny with infants (under 1 year essential)
  • Experience in rota nanny roles within private households – preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Calm, grounded and emotionally intelligent approach
  • Confident in baby care without being overbearing
  • Able to provide guidance when appropriate but remain flexible to parental direction
  • Strong understanding of early child development
  • Discreet, professional, and respectful of privacy
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a household team
  • Comfortable in a fully staffed home (Chef and Housekeeper in place)
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Fluent English
