A UHNW family based in Zurich, Switzerland, are seeking an experienced German and English speaking Rota Nanny to care for their two-year-old daughter. Working a one or two week rota, alongside a second Nanny, this is an exciting and varied position for a dedicated childcare professional with a background in Montessori or Early Years education and a genuine passion for supporting early development through play-based, child-led learning. The role is well supported – the family employ two Nanny/Housekeepers, ensuring the successful candidate can focus entirely on delivering exceptional, consistent care. A private apartment separate from the main residence is provided whilst on duty.
Job Responsibility
Provide nurturing, age-appropriate care tailored to the needs of a two-year-old
Supporting early childhood development with a focus on Montessori principles
Manage and support the child’s daily schedule
Prepare balanced, nutritious meals in keeping with the family’s preferences
Work in close collaboration with the parents, the rota Nanny, and the wider household team to ensure consistent, high-standard care
Prepare for and accompany the family on frequent international trips, ensuring a seamless and settled experience for the child
Ensure all environments, both at home and whilst travelling, are clean, calm, and child-safe
Full nanny duties, including preparing nutritiously balanced meals for the child
Accompanying the family on frequent international travel
Requirements
Qualified in Montessori or Early Years education
Fluent in German and English
Proven experience as a Rota Nanny working with infants and toddlers within fully staffed, UHNW households
Warm, emotionally intelligent, and deeply committed to nurturing child development
Highly resilient and flexible in approach
Discreet, polished, and confident operating within a shared care environment
Holds an EU passport or Swiss residency/citizenship
Flexible and willing to travel extensively with the family to international destinations
