We are looking for an experienced scheduler or roster coordinator for an initial 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day coordination of a large workforce where you will be responsible for making sure all shifts are filled, managing daily changes, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Building and updating complex staff schedules to ensure full coverage at all times
Handling sick calls and leave requests while adjusting the roster in real-time to fill gaps
Maintaining accurate digital records of attendance and providing basic reports on staffing trends
Ensuring all schedules meet award requirements and internal company policies
Acting as the first point of call for staff regarding any scheduling or shift queries
Requirements:
Proven experience in a dedicated rostering or scheduling role is essential
Ability to work under pressure and solve scheduling conflicts quickly
Strong computer literacy with specific experience in rostering software and Excel
Willingness to undergo the required security and background clearances immediately
