We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Rosters Team Leader to join our team!

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the rostering function for a large team
  • Preparing, publishing, and managing rosters within set timeframes
  • Handling administrative tasks, including maintaining staff details, tracking attendance preferences, and ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submissions
  • Monitoring roster variations, managing vacancies, and supporting payroll reconciliation
  • Guiding and supporting Roster Coordinators
  • Building positive internal and external relationships
  • Meeting commercial KPIs, including timely roster publication, high participant satisfaction, and minimising unfilled shifts

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of rostering systems and practices
  • Experience in staff coordination and roster management, with a demonstrated ability to meet time pressures and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the rostering function for a large team, ensuring compliance with the SCHADS Award and relevant legislation
  • Ability to prepare, publish, and manage rosters within set timeframes, ensuring optimal use of staff based on client needs and staff availability
  • Strong organisational skills for handling administrative tasks, including maintaining staff details, tracking attendance preferences, and ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submissions
  • A proactive approach to monitoring roster variations, managing vacancies, and supporting payroll reconciliation when needed
  • Proven leadership in guiding and supporting Roster Coordinators, promoting team cohesion and continuous improvement
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build positive internal and external relationships
  • A focus on meeting commercial KPIs, including timely roster publication, high participant satisfaction, and minimising unfilled shifts
  • Adaptability in handling challenges such as cost control, employee disruption, and ensuring data accuracy across the rostering process
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
