Job Description:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and general repairs in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces in accordance with Marriott standards. Responsibilities include maintenance, cleaning, reporting safety issues, and positive collaboration within a team.

Job Responsibility:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces
assemble bed frames, vacuum behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting, touch-up furniture
replace light fixtures, and inspect and repair grout and caulking
report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager or supervisor
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals
adhere to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces
perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls
perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces
report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards
follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
less than 1 year related work experience
