Job Description:

Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments and managing staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Monitors compliance with standards and procedures. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in managing execution of all operations in rooms area departments
Manage staff and verify goals are translated to team
Create property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork
Understand employee and guest satisfaction results
Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
Manage property rooms operations functions
Follow property specific second effort and recovery plan
Publish guest satisfaction results
Manage activities affecting guest experience
Provide excellent customer service
Manage profitability and financial performance
Conduct human resources activities including hiring and employee feedback

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
Understanding of brand's service culture
Ability to manage staff and operations
Experience in improving guest and employee satisfaction
Financial performance management skills
Compliance with standards and procedures
