Job Description:

Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments and managing staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Monitors compliance with standards and procedures. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in managing execution of all operations in rooms area departments (Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping)
Manage staff and lead room operations team
Improve guest and employee satisfaction
Maximize financial performance of department
Monitor compliance with standards and procedures
Conduct human resources activities including hiring and employee feedback
Manage property rooms operations functions
Monitor activities affecting guest experience
Manage profitability through financial review and cost reduction

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
Experience in leading room operations teams
Understanding of guest and employee satisfaction metrics
Knowledge of financial performance management
Experience with property standards and procedures
