Job Description:

The Rooms Inspector is responsible for inspecting guest rooms after cleaning, completing required housekeeping paperwork, and responding to guest and departmental requests. Responsibilities include assisting management in employee training and evaluation, following safety protocols, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing efficiency improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Enter status of rooms cleaned
inspect guest rooms after Housekeeper cleaning
complete housekeeping paperwork
respond to requests from guests and other departments
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees
follow safety and security policies
report maintenance problems and safety hazards
assist individuals with disabilities
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
anticipate and address guest service needs
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
identify and implement ways to increase efficiency and quality
develop positive working relationships with others.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart
ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period
ability to visually verify and interpret written documents
strong communication skills to speak with others in a clear and professional language.
