Guestroom Attendant Self-Inspector is responsible to clean, inspect and release stayover rooms and to release checkout rooms to be sold. Guestroom Attendant Self Inspector informs a Housekeeping manager if a room cannot be released and/or sold due to quality issues or any pending service orders for Housekeeping, Engineering or the In Room Dining department.
Job Responsibility:
Prepares the guest room for arrival and daytime service
Cleans the guestroom at the requested time if known
Removes dirty towels and bed linen and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet
Cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the Guest Room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom) according to procedure and standard
Makes bed
Vacuums carpets and removes small carpet stains
Cleans wood, marble and tile areas
Remove garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom
Completes scheduled cleaning projects such as Perfect Room Program and weekly/ monthly cleaning projects
Submits all maintenance issues in guestrooms, Public Areas and Back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of the Housekeeping management
Submits work orders in designated work system for the pick-up of In Room Dining tables and trays
Coordinates with the In Room Dining team through designated work system the replenishing of Private Bars supplies, cups, glasses and used amenities
Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience
Follows up with House Attendants, Engineering and In Room Dining team to ensure work orders and special set ups in guest rooms are completed
Updates the room status in designated work system
Must maintain an average score of 90% or higher on room inspections performed by hotel leadership team
Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens in guestrooms
Assists Housekeeping management with weekly stock takes of guest supplies in Room Attendant closets
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior experience preferred but not required
Ability to read, write and speak English
