The Room Guest Service Assistant is responsible for delivering prompt, courteous, and professional in-room dining service to guests in accordance with company standards. This role ensures accurate order delivery, high service quality, cleanliness of service areas, and effective communication with the Room Service, Kitchen, and Front of House teams to enhance the overall guest experience. This role is island‑based and requires working on a rostered stay‑on‑island schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally
Set up trays, trolleys, and in-room dining service according to brand standards
Ensure accuracy of orders and presentation before delivery to guests
Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times
Clear trays, trolleys, and used service items from guest rooms and corridors
Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service pantries and equipment
Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
Complete required service documentation and checks accurately
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
Perform manual handling duties and other reasonable tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in room service, food and beverage, or a similar guest service role is an advantage
Must have legal working rights in Fiji.
