Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for an In Room Dining Food Runner who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepares and sets up in-room dining trays and tables with appropriate linens, condiments, and serviceware
  • Ensures proper handling of hot and cold items
  • Responsible for clearing, collecting, and breaking down trays and tables from guest rooms and throughout the property
  • Coordinating with Housekeeping to ensure timely retrieval of tables and trays
  • Performing side work duties such as restocking, cleaning, and setup to prepare for each shift
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the current menu, beverage offerings, and daily specials
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Uphold Four Seasons standards of excellence, including the Sequence of Service
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a genuine passion for guest service
  • Maintain a high level of personal presentation and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Required to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
  • Solid food and wine knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required
