Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Room Service Coordinator who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Room Service Coordinator will be a member of a dynamic team who provides service and support to our award-winning employees. This position reports to the In-Room Dining Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Answer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest’s order according to Four Seasons Standards
Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order
coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
Properly and accurately close amenity and guest checks
record guest charges and gratuities
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
Compile, coordinate and reconcile amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion and billed accurately thereafter
Ensure all BEO’s and pre-orders are communicated with staff and kitchen
Collaborate with Room Service Servers to ensure guest requests, amenities, private bar refills are all prioritized and completed
Requirements:
Previous exposure to Hotel Operating Systems (Opera, Micros POS and HotSOS systems preferred)
Previous experience in office/event coordination or relatable experience
Strong communication and multi-tasking
Ability to smoothly navigate between engaging guests and handling complex administrative tasks
Food Handler’s Permit
Mixologist Permit
U.S. work authorization is required
