Job Description:

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Server Assistant – Room Service to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. In this essential role, you will support the Room Service team in delivering food and beverage orders, setting up trays and tables, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. With a commitment to excellence and teamwork, you will help provide our guests with a seamless, refined, and memorable in-room dining experience that reflects the legendary Four Seasons service standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist Room Service Servers with the delivery and setup of food and beverage items to guest rooms
  • Set up, clear, and clean trays, tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware for service
  • Retrieve trays and tables promptly after service and ensure guest corridors are kept tidy and free of debris
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, pantries, and stations at all times
  • Handle hotel equipment carefully to minimize breakage and loss
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures according to Four Seasons standards
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, adhering to payroll, uniform, and grooming guidelines
  • Work professionally and respectfully with co-workers, supervisors, and managers
  • Maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude while supporting efficient team operations
  • Perform any other duties or special projects assigned by the Room Service Manager or supervisors

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Hotel and Tourism Vocational High School or equivalent education
  • No prior experience required – this is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is preferred
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Basic command of English is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently when needed
  • Familiarity with five-star hotel service standards and etiquette is an asset
  • Physically able to lift and carry trays safely
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
