The Assistant Room Service Manager supports the Room Service Manager in overseeing daily in-room dining operations to ensure exceptional service, smooth workflow, and guest satisfaction. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating service and delivery, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced and guest-focused environment.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure that guests receive exceptional service reflecting the Four Seasons values, consistently creating a positive impact by passionately serving others, both internal and external customers
Support employees and colleagues to achieve common objectives, encourage change, promote learning, and share knowledge and experience to develop team skills
Make storeroom requisitions, balancing financial responsibility with operational and service needs
Assist in preparing purchase orders in the absence of the manager
Maximize and supervise resources to ensure efficient task performance, always avoiding misuse and waste, and teaching the proper care and use of equipment
Supervise compliance with product rotation standards (First In, First Out)
Assist with inventories of equipment and operational products
Ensure timely, accurate, and elegant delivery and pickup of Room Service orders
Follow up on employees’ training and ensure adherence to operational procedures and systems
Collaborate with the culinary and stewarding teams to guarantee seamless service and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
Previous experience as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in Room Service or Food & Beverage
Strong knowledge of in-room dining service standards and operations
A college degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
Ability to operate computer equipment and F&B systems
Proactive and detail-oriented approach
Strong conflict and crisis resolution skills
Able to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently
High level of spoken and written proficiency in English and Spanish
Assertive and effective communication skills
Proven interpersonal skills and a successful record of guest interaction
Candidates must hold a valid work permit that allows them to work legally in Spain
