Join our Room Reservations team at the iconic Castle in the Rockies where world-class service meets the stunning beauty of the Canadian Rockies. As a Room Reservations Coordinator, you will be a key member of the hotel’s Room Reservations Team. Beyond taking bookings, you will manage room inventory, coordinate with guests, support internal teams, and help deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Job Responsibility:
Support day-to-day operations across Tour, Group, and Leisure reservations, including bookings, billing, and package management
Maintain hotel inventory, manage rate codes, promotions, and group/tour contracts, and address oversell situations
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Global Reservations, Fairmont Gold, Concierge, Resort Activities, F&B, and Sales teams
Monitor reservations inboxes, manage guest and internal correspondence, and handle escalations or reservation-related concerns
Audit group contracts, maintain system accuracy, and support team development through training guides, SOP updates, and departmental initiatives
Requirements:
18-month commitment to the role
Previous reservations or hotel operations experience is an asset
Proficiency in Opera PMS (Cloud and CRS)
Knowledge of Passkey/GroupMax is an asset
Strong attention to detail and passion for hotel operations
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Professional presentation and ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
