The Room Inspector coordinates, inspects, and ensures the daily cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. This role provides direction, training, and support to housekeepers and floor attendants, ensuring Marriott brand standards are met while fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Job Responsibility:
Conducting daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department including the guest rooms and public areas
Distributing to the Room Attendants any new items that are to be stocked in the guest rooms
Notifying the Maintenance Department of any necessary repairs or maintenance work
Assisting Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in conducting room attendant training
Assisting the Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in completing room assignments for the Guest Room Attendants
Assisting in cleaning rooms or public areas and performing laundry functions as workload may require
Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of previous housekeeping or hospitality supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
