Job Responsibility:

  • Clean and service guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
  • Ensure all public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces are kept tidy and presentable
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Assist with laundry duties as required, including handling linens and towels
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures to ensure consistent service quality

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or room attendant role is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and weekends
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality environments
  • Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently
  • Public transport may be required due to the location
  • Candidates applying must live in the Inverness or Nairn area to commute daily to the location
