Wayfinder Waikiki is seeking individuals that will create a memorable experience for our guests through their attention to detail and care they take in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role truly is the “Heart of the House” and provides key services for our guests to truly relax and enjoy their stay. A great housekeeping team can make a guest stay go from OK to Outstanding!
Job Responsibility:
Clean and vacuum guest rooms thoroughly to meet high cleanliness standards
Collect and transport soiled linens for laundering
Make beds and ensure rooms are neat, orderly, and guest-ready
Restock room supplies and amenities (e.g., toiletries, towels, beverages)
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concerns
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere in all guest rooms
Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping Director.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction
Flexible with scheduling
availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
