As Roofing Foreman, you will lead the charge in directing your team to be solutions-oriented, accountable, and serving our customers’ needs to the highest standard. The roofing foreman is responsible for leading and supervising a roofing crew to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and maintaining a safe working environment. The roofing foreman must have extensive knowledge of roofing systems, construction techniques, and safety protocols.

Job Responsibility:

Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to understand project specifications, timelines, and requirements
Plan and organize tasks to ensure efficient project execution
Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of roofing workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities
Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members
Motivate the team to meet project goals and deadlines
Quality Control: Ensure that roofing installations meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices
Conduct inspections to identify and address any issues or defects
Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations
Conduct safety meetings and training for the roofing crew
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower
Coordinate deliveries and inventory to meet project requirements
Communication: Maintain open communication with project managers
Report progress, issues, and challenges regularly
Address and resolve any concerns or conflicts within the team
Problem Solving: Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during the roofing project
Propose and implement solutions to overcome obstacles
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and other project-related data
Complete necessary paperwork and reports

Requirements:

Red Seal Certificate
Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar leadership role
In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction techniques
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
Valid driver's license
