Roller operator

• Compacting fill material, sub-bases, and final surfaces for new site access roads and the concrete pad areas for the transmission tower bases
• Operating heavy vibratory rollers (smooth drum and/or padfoot) for the compaction of granular materials and sub-bases to required densities
• Compacting access roads and the ground beneath structural concrete pads in line with engineering specifications
• Adhering strictly to rolling patterns and maintaining safe working distances from edges, slopes, and other plant
• Working efficiently with the wider groundworks gang to ensure timely and effective use of the compaction window

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Roller ticket (required)
• Valid CSCS Card (required)
• Proven experience operating heavy rollers on large civil engineering sites, ideally involving road construction or rough terrain preparation
• Must be able to commit to the structured 11-on, 3-off rotation starting in February
