Requirements

Previous experience operating road rollers in a civil or road maintenance environment
Valid Roller Ticket (RIIMPO317 or equivalent)
Current White Card (Construction Induction)
Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to get to site
Strong awareness of site safety and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible hours and commit to overtime when needed

Job Responsibility

Operate smooth drum and multi-tyred rollers on various road maintenance projects
Carry out compaction of road bases, asphalt, and subgrades to required standards
Perform daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
Assist the team with road prep, patching, and general labouring tasks as required
Follow site safety procedures, traffic control measures, and directions from supervisors
Ensure machinery is operated efficiently, safely, and within compliance standards
