Job Description:

Robotics Test Engineer – UAS. We’re partnering with an emerging European company developing cutting-edge autonomous aerial systems for defense and emergency response. Our team is building decentralized swarming technology for large-scale intelligence and mission support, backed by strong investor confidence and active partnerships across Europe and allied nations. Role Overview: They’re looking for a Robotics Test Engineer with a focus on UAS testing and deployment. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team where you’ll have real autonomy and influence. Your work will span development, simulation, and hands-on field testing of advanced autonomous and swarming capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Develop collaborative autonomy algorithms
Turn prototypes into robust, production-ready software
Build and improve simulation environments for multiple UAS types
Deploy algorithms on real UAS platforms and swarms
Plan testing/validation for autonomous flight performance

Requirements:

BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
2+ years relevant experience
Strong background in vehicle dynamics, control, sensor fusion, and algorithms
Proficient in Linux/WSL, C++, and ROS2
EU or NATO citizenship
