Role Overview: As a Robotics Process Engineer II, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. Job Responsibility

  • Develop simulations using one or more platforms for internal and external process validation
  • Apply cycle time improvement strategies to optimize robotic applications
  • Confirm robot models and develop offline programs (OLPs)
  • Teach Tool Center Points (TCPs), Frames, and Loads
  • Configure robot I/O, including communication protocols
  • Set parameters for application-specific equipment
  • Train and mentor team members as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field OR Associate's Degree with 2+ years of related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience with robot peripheral devices, tool center points, offline programming software, external axes, and user frames
  • Experience with one or more robot applications: Material Handling, Dispense (Urethane, Sealer, Adhesive, Paint), Welding (Spot, Arc, Laser)
  • Willingness to travel up to 35–50% to customer sites and other JR locations
  • Successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check
