Ready to engineer precision in the world of robotics? Our client is a cutting-edge biotech who is looking for their next innovative engineer! Proclinical is seeking a Robotics Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of robotic systems within automated workflows. Primary Responsibilities: This role focuses on creating robust software solutions, integrating physical robotic systems, and building simulation environments to ensure seamless hardware deployment. You will play a key role in debugging, documenting, and scaling robotic systems while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Job Responsibility:
Develop ROS2 nodes, launch files, and message-service-action interfaces for transport workflows
Integrate physical robotic systems, including arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), or mobile manipulators, into the automation environment
Build and maintain simulation environments using platforms like Isaac Sim or Gazebo to test and refine deployments
Debug end-to-end integration issues, including kinematics, calibration, timing, and sensor-related challenges
Contribute expertise in motion planning, navigation, localization, perception, or sensor fusion as needed
Document configurations, failure modes, and operating procedures to support scalability and maintenance
Requirements:
Background in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience
Proficiency in ROS2 node development, launch files, and message-service-action interfaces
Solid understanding of robot kinematics, including forward/inverse kinematics, Jacobians, and transforms
Experience with robotic simulation platforms such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo
Hands-on experience with physical robots, including robotic arms, AMRs, or mobile manipulators
Expertise in at least one area: motion planning (e.g., MoveIt2), trajectory generation, autonomous navigation (e.g., Nav2), localization (e.g., SLAM, AMCL), perception (e.g., object detection, depth sensing), or sensor fusion (e.g., IMU, LiDAR, camera integration)
Nice to have:
Experience deploying robotic systems in production or field environments
Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ within a ROS2 context
Ability to independently debug hardware-software integration issues
Familiarity with lab automation or scientific environments
