Job Description:

As the Robotics & Automation Technical Associate, you will be at the center of our operations in our state-of-the-art laboratories and everything you will do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality. You will join the Robotics & Automation team in the Clinical Immunology and Diagnostics (CID) group within Pfizer’s Vaccines division. You will have the important role to maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in a regulated GxP setting in support of multiple vaccine programs. You will be relied on as a technical contributor to assess the assigned tasks and make decisions that involve direct application of your knowledge.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate the laboratory and robotic equipment and perform a variety of tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Perform job responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, which adhere to GxP and other regulatory requirements
  • Document lab work by utilizing the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and/or electronic lab notebooks
  • Stay current on all departmental and corporate training
  • Adhere to schedule and perform other activities, assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Laboratory Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions while confident in problem solving
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy and Microsoft Windows/Office 365 experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a regulated CLIA or GxP laboratory setting
  • Experience managing and calibrating equipment
