Job Responsibility:

  • Play a significant part in the development of planning and control software for autonomous mobile robot stack
  • Take part in the development of robust navigation techniques for our new robot models
  • Work with our engineering team in Boston to bring the products to life

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with localization, planning, and/or controls for drones or mobile robots in academia or industry
  • Strong CS, Mathematics, or Physics background
  • Excellent programming skills
  • Familiarity with simulation tools
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Visual SLAM, lidar-based SLAM, Factor Graphs, ROS, CUDA, lidars, sensors fusion, 3D reconstruction, calibration, computer vision, path planning and controls algorithms
  • Strong math skills, familiarity with mathematical optimization in the context of autonomous navigation and computer vision
  • M.S. or PhD
