Job Description:

Instawork is looking for energetic, outgoing, and tech-savvy Campus Ambassadors to help build the next generation of robotics technology. You'll be the face of our robotics initiatives on your campus, engaging with fellow students and guiding them through short, fun data collection sessions using an iPhone to help train the computer vision models that will power the future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage & Recruit students on campus for paid/incentivized data recording sessions
  • Capture Data by guiding students through recording high-quality video and sensor data using our app
  • Quality Control to ensure lighting, framing, and movement instructions are followed
  • Educate participants about the purpose of the technology
  • Manage Goals to meet weekly targets for unique participants recorded

Requirements:

  • Comfortable approaching strangers and explaining complex ideas simply
  • Comfortable using iOS devices and troubleshooting basic app issues
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable
  • Currently enrolled as a student at a University
  • Available to work 10–15 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  • Physically capable of holding an iPhone steady for extended periods and standing/walking around campus for a shift

Nice to have:

  • Interest in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or Marketing
  • Experience in street teaming, sales, or photography
  • Previous ambassador, promotional, or field marketing experience
