We’re seeking a Roblox Thumbnail Artist to create visually compelling thumbnails that drive engagement and maintain brand consistency. Using Photoshop and Blender, you’ll transform gameplay and renders into polished, high-performing visuals. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to implement feedback efficiently, while collaborating closely with the team to meet deadlines and optimize thumbnail performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Visual Design: Utilize Adobe Photoshop to create visually engaging Roblox thumbnails optimized for various devices and screen sizes
  • 3D Roblox Renders: Utilize Blender to create Roblox skin renders to use in Thumbnails
  • Image Selection and Enhancement: Select compelling images from video footage or photoshoots and enhance them as needed to create eye-catching thumbnails
  • Text Integration: Incorporate legible text elements such as titles, captions, and call-to-action phrases into thumbnail designs
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency with the channel's branding guidelines, including color schemes, fonts, and logo placement, to maintain brand identity
  • Testing and Optimization: Make A/B versions of different thumbnail designs to ensure optimal performance in terms of click-through rate (CTR) and viewer engagement
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in thumbnail design
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate closely with strategists, team members, and editors to ensure thumbnails accurately represent video content
  • Feedback Implementation: Efficiently implement feedback from the team, iterating on designs to align with branding and content objectives
  • Coordination with Packaging Team: Coordinate with the packaging team to ensure thumbnail designs align with overall branding and packaging strategies
  • Team Communication: Share feedback, and assets with team members to collectively contribute to the success of thumbnail designs, utilizing communication tools such as Monday.com and Discord
  • Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality thumbnails in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Have 2+ years of experience creating Roblox thumbnails and using Photoshop
  • Evidence of previous high quality Roblox thumbnail designs
  • Understand visual design principles for thumbnails, including composition and color theory
  • Provide a portfolio or previous experience demonstrating proficiency in creating various thumbnail styles
  • Ability to photo-manipulate and make changes in Photoshop to test, elements, etc
  • Possess strong communication skills and accountability when working with team members
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changes when necessary
  • Able to understand and implement feedback to improve thumbnail quality
  • Flexible in adjusting to changes in deadlines and creating emergency thumbnails
  • Knowledgeable about creating roblox thumbnails
