Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Roaming Quality & Testing Lead to act as a subject matter expert for new technology services, with responsibility for end-to-end IREG and TADIG testing across multiple local markets. This role focuses on planning, execution and delivery of roaming testing for 4G, 5G and VoLTE services, managing risks, timelines and quality, and ensuring successful service launches through close collaboration with roaming partners, hubs and local markets. The role also drives innovation through the practical application of AI and GenAI within testing processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, schedule and deliver end-to-end IREG and TADIG testing for assigned local markets, from initiation through to commercial launch and CLL sign-off
  • Own and track KPIs for new technology services including 4G, 5G and VoLTE across assigned markets
  • Ensure monthly service launch targets are achieved by proactively managing test plans, risks and dependencies
  • Coordinate with roaming partners, hubs and local market teams to execute test scenarios and resolve technical challenges
  • Manage defect management, configuration management and test execution activities aligned to agreed processes
  • Monitor and support the team in troubleshooting technical issues related to roaming and quality testing
  • Take preventative action to ensure requirements, quality and delivery timelines are consistently met
  • Support end-to-end roaming testing activities, including billing and core node troubleshooting
  • Apply implementation-level knowledge of AI and GenAI to improve testing efficiency, analysis and decision-making
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and provide clear reporting on progress, risks and outcomes

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the telecommunications roaming domain, with strong exposure to IREG and TADIG testing
  • In-depth technical knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G and VoLTE technologies
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end roaming testing cycles, call flows and roaming quality
  • Hands-on experience with roaming test tools such as SIGOS and exposure to AI-enabled testing approaches
  • 10–12 years of experience in roaming, including troubleshooting of core network nodes and billing impacts
  • Proven coordination, reporting and stakeholder management skills across multiple markets and partners
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Technology or a related discipline

  • Ensure vendor contracts remain aligned with technology evolution, business priorities, and the latest GSMA and wireless industry standards
