Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience using Civil 3D on roadway or transportation projects

Job Responsibility

Play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects
Take ownership of roadway design and production tasks from concept through construction
Apply advanced CAD and design skills to develop roadway layouts, alignments, profiles, typical sections, and construction documents
Ensure compliance with applicable design standards, agency requirements, and project goals
Work closely with engineering staff to translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and constructible plans
Coordinate design elements across disciplines, resolve design challenges, and proactively identify potential issues related to constructibility, phasing, and maintenance of traffic
Assist with quantity calculations, cost estimates, technical memoranda, and responses to agency comments
