Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical reports for roadway and multimodal projects
  • Apply engineering standards and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance in design work
  • Support coordination with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and reviewing agencies
  • Perform design analyses, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs for assigned project components
  • Assist in quality assurance reviews and respond to design review comments or field questions

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 7-10+ years of transportation engineering experience with TxDOT projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCad, and Civil3D software
  • Proposal writing/marketing experience is a plus
