Job Description

Assist Control Centre and Controllers with roadside route management. Share and learn from best practice from peers to achieve peak performance. Meet service delivery standards and exceed Minimum Performance Standards on all TfL contracts for Arriva London.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with the Control Centre Managers & Controllers to develop a high-performance culture
  • Supporting day to day service control strategies through roadside
  • Service improvement investigation, recommendation, and implementation
  • To work closely with the Senior Controllers to deliver on route performance forecasts and targets
  • Improve processes and develop efficiencies
  • Deliver the best outcome for London’s passengers and business outcomes
  • Cover colleagues when absent and when required to ensure adequate coverage
  • Submit Bus Running Records (BRR) on a daily basis to Senior Controllers
  • At each point, take ownership of Health & Safety and the performance of drivers and services

Requirements

  • Knowledge of TfL Bus control processes
  • TfL Bus network and Bus Action Plan
  • Detailed knowledge of the area route networks & garages
  • Supervise the driver teams on services at allocated locations
  • Health & Safety compliance
