Requirements

Heavy equipment hauling experience required
Possession and maintenance of a valid Class A CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass and maintain DOT/FMCSA requirements for drug screens and DOT physicals
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Three (3) years minimum related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Job Responsibility

Works with foreman, mechanics, and other operations staff to coordinate heavy equipment relocations
Ensures proper and safe loading, unloading, and securing of oversized/overweight equipment
Plans the best route for delivery of heavy equipment
Completes thorough load check inspections before each departure
Identifies and addresses potential delivery and pick-up problems
Use basic equipment operating skills to load and unload
Ensures all necessary permits and logs are up-to-date
Documents machine/equipment damage and reports immediately
Complies with all DOT, State and local traffic and highway laws
Completes and files all vehicle pre/post-trip inspections

Experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, reliability engineering, systems engineering or infrastructure management

Apply ISO 55001‑aligned asset‑management principles to clarify roles, responsibilities, asset strategies and lifecycle controls
Support the development of asset‑management system elements such as governance, standards, assurance and continuous improvement
Shape lifecycle approaches (plan – design – deliver – operate – renew) that drive consistent performance
Analyse performance, risk and operational insight
Use operational data, fault/incident logs, service KPIs and asset health information to identify root causes of underperformance
