Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to join an exciting and expanding business based within Leyland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to secure a long-term, stable role within a respected and growing organisation. This HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver role is purely nights, operating on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, offering excellent flexibility and consistent time off. You'll be working with well-maintained, modern vehicles, new equipment, and a variety of night-time highway and infrastructure works across different sites, keeping the role varied, steady, and rewarding.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate HGV Class 2 road sweeper vehicles across various locations during night works
  • Complete pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and transport documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to meet night-shift schedules
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and site safety procedures
