Job Responsibility:
Analyze Large Strategic Accounts
forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends, whether based on historical demand or new customer requirements to maximize Distribution Service Agreement (DSA) compliance
Builds and maintains relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance, buy side profitability, inventory productivity and overall team effectiveness
Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges strategic accounts face as it relates to procuring product and supplier and distribution center relations
Works with Large Strategic Accounts Manager on opportunities such as deals, rebates, allowances, new item purchases and promotional activities for suppliers and customers
Ability to resolve issues with guidance and oversight from manager
Ability to multi-task and perform varied functions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Performs related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
Minimum of one to three years directly related and progressively responsible experience
Previous customer/client facing experience
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, principles, practices and procedures in Procurement
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills
