perform additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-needed basis or as determined by management
follow established hospital and department policies
attend 80% of staff meetings and read and initial minutes of all meetings
develop innovative solutions to departmental problems
identify and implement methods of controlling costs or generating revenue while providing maximum value to both the patient/customer and the hospital
make decisions in accordance with the best interests of the individual and organization we serve

Requirements
Certificate Other Successful completion of an RNFA program that meets the AORN standards for RN first assistant education programs
Three (3) years Perioperative Practice
Experience in both scrub and circulating RN roles
Registered Nurse: CA
Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS, within 6 - months
Certified Nurse Operating Room - CNOR, upon hire
Nice to have
Bachelors Of Science Nursing BSN
Previous first assist experience
Experience as RN and First Assist in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures and urology highly preferred
